Join JOMBA! and the CCA in the launch of our seminal 2004 conference book detailing groundbreaking African artists talking about dance, choreography and what it means to be African. Entitled, “AFRICAN CONTEMPORARY DANCE?” , this book offers not only the luscious photography of Val Adamson (amongst others) but also key debates and discussion for all dance fans and scholars.

PANEL DISCUSSION: “When Choreography Meets Fine Art: Practitioners Speak Out!”
The book launch will be accompanied by a panel discussion on the nature of choreographic and artistic collaboration between some of Durban 's seminal video artists and choreographers. Chaired by award winning journalist Adrienne Sichel, this is sure to offer some heated debate!
